Mother-Daughter Chick Flick
What can be a better Mother's day bonding than watching a chick flick with the gorgeous Patrick Dempsey with your sister and mother? The theater was practically packed with mothers, daughters, grandmothers, and the occasional dragged boyfriend.
I was afraid this movie was simply going to be a My Best Friend's Wedding in reverse, but I actually didn't think of that movie while watch this. Of course like most chick flicks this is a cookie cutter of romantic comedies. Predictable, not hilarious but funny in a charming kind of way.
My favorite part is the whole best friend aspect. They know all the little details about your life. The games you play with each other. It's a bond so perfect. I would love to have that in my relationship. To not only be all that lovey dovey stuff, but also have that unbreakable friendship.
Anyways, I admit it's not the best chick flick out there, but it's enjoyable to watch. It won't satisfy that "chick flick fix" but it'll temporarily ease the cravings.
